Download Seamless3d 2.161A Pre-Release

2.161A is a pre-release version of 2.161 which is still in the process of being developed.
2.161A will have many of the new features working but it is NOT a complete version! Some of the info in the existing tutorials may no longer apply and some of the robot demos may not be able to complete their course when run.
If you want to go back to an earlier version of seamless3d you will have to delete the Seamless3d folder contained in your "My Documents" folder.

Seamless3d is free open source software available under the MIT licence.

Seamless3d creates an undoCache folder for all the files it backs up to enable it to undo commands. When Seamless3d is closed all backed up smls files get deleted from this folder. If seamless3d crashes none of the backed up smls files are deleted enabling the user to get the last file that was backed up and save it with a more appropriate name. Depending on the types of files edited and the delayBackup setting, the undoCache folder can become very big over time. Responsibility of deleting all files left behind from crashes in this folder is left to the user to do manually. Seamless3d undo feature works best when the undo folder is kept deleted of files after crashes. Do not rely on the Seamless3d undo feature to backup your files for you, it has bugs so backup your smls files frequently.
